Maite Larburu is a versatile musician.
She studied violin and especialized in Early Music Performance Practice at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where she worked and lived for over 15 years, collaborating with many of the best known Early Music Ensembles across Europe.
Anyhow, Maite has a singer-songwriter side to add to her artistic activities in the pop-rock music field: after releasing two albums with Neighbor, "Ura patrikan" (2013) and "Hau" (2016), she started her solo sound-artist career in 2019. She has already released two solo albums: "Hezurren azpian" (2019), Musika Bulegoa Award for Best Album 2020, and her latest album, "Krak" (2021). This last album also won the Musika Bulegoa Award in 2022.
