Xabi Solano Maiza (Hernani, 1978) is one of the most creative and innovative figures in Basque music. Over the past 30 years, he has developed his creativity through a wide range of projects. In addition to founding and leading bands such as Etzakit and Esne Beltza, he has also been a member of Fermin Muguruza’s band. Today, he is touring from stage to stage with his solo project, blending traditional Basque music with electronic music, rock and folk. His roots are always present in his performances, which deliver an energetic, festive and intercultural live experience, created to connect with the audience.
