Neomak, which means "new moons" in Greek, has chosen the same name as the group to name their first album. They are seven young women who have been rooted in trikitixa all their lives - they met as sorginak with Kepa Junkera and performed in different corners of the world - but they have also drunk from the new, more contemporary styles.

They have made a special fusion between these two styles, creating a traditional and innovative project, naturally combining the most organic sounds with new technologies. Free, creating and teaching what they want, they have soaked the traditional trikitixa in electronics, with the aim of making the listener dance.
